With over 35 years of clinical experience, I have offices conveniently located in Park Slope, Brooklyn and Greenwich Village, Manhattan. I hold the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Weill Medical College Cornell University where I have been affiliated since 1979. My approach is integrative and I do both long and short-term work. I believe that psychotherapy must be adapted to the person and not the other way around. I have extensive experience in the treatment of anxiety and depression, relationship and sexual problems, and fears, phobias, and obsessions.
My practice is informed by cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal approaches.
I participate in plans run by Oxford, GHI, ValueOptions, and the Empire Plan for New York State Employees.
