Personal Statement :
|
* Are you tired of waiting to lose weight? * Is stress of pain weighing you down? * Do you want to wake up your creative talents? * Are you ready to end your suffering around relationship issues? * Do you wish to heal your traumatic wounds (PTSD)? * Do you want to stop smoking or change a habit? * Are you ready to create the life of your dreams?
Whatever your situation or problem, it is likely you can learn something meaningful from it. You do not have to stay stuck. There is hope. Although I have a general counseling practice, I am a special kind of counselor who helps people change, adjust to change, and create meaningful lives rather than just exist.
There are times when all of us feel grief and loss, abandoned and upset, stressed and overwhelmed. These feelings wake us up at night, make us sick, affect our relationships with others, our work, and our sense of wellbeing. Sometimes these feelings don't go away. I can help. In our counseling relationship, I can help you create the life of your dreams or cope with a difficult situation. You do not have to stay in the cocoon for life. Change can be beautiful.
Are you sick and tired of the way things are? Are you feeling too afraid to live the life you want to live? Are you ready for a change but don't know how to start? You know how sometimes you have an idea of how your life could be better if you.... (fill in the blank)?
You may have a unique situation that feels overwhelming. Or, perhaps you'd like to add some creative spice to your life, overcome procrastination and worrisome habits. I can help. I have over twenty years of experience in private practice. I have learned that change need not be drudgery, painful, or reckless. Like a butterfly, change can be beautiful. Let the inner, secret, wonderful ideas you have come to life.
I use creative arts, contempletive practice, psychotherapy, bibliotherapy, poetry, problem-solving, and other traditional approaches to give my clients an opportunity to live a happier and more meaningful life.
