Dr. Deborah Grody has been in private practice helping adults, couples, children and families for over 30 years. She has extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, couples counseling, child and adolescent therapy, family therapy, and parent advisement.
Dr. Grody has a PHD in Clinical Psychology as well as a Masters Degree and Advanced Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychology. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the New York State Psychological Association, and is profiled in Who's Who in America.
My approach is caring, empathetic and down to earth. I will actively work with you to rapidly achieve your goals and solve the problems that are interfering with your life and happiness. I work with individuals and couples who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, eating disorders, and family and relationship issues. I also work with children, adolescents and families.
I am a New York State licensed psychologist with specialized training in psychodynamic, cognitive and behavioral therapies; couples counseling; and child, adolescent and family therapy.
I have been fortunate to be able to help hundreds of people to successfully overcome their anxiety, depression, stress and relationship problems enabling them to achieve lasting, permanent change leading to a happier and more fulfilling life.
